Apparently, flash flooding has nothing to do with nudity, and using the word “puddle” is an understatement.

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the floods are flashing.

It rained *REALLY* hard last night – So we got to work today, a little soggy, only to be sent home because the water was still rising.  Quite a bit actually.

My work is situated in a National Park, so the dirt roads aren’t great at the best of times, but always a lot of fun.  There is one particular corner which always ends up becoming a puddle when it rains – today, puddle was definitely an understatement.

Here is a pic of the other weak and pathetic obviously careful drivers at the edge of the puddle, contemplating whether or not they would get their 4wd’s though…

Not as tough as us, obviously.

Of course, we just barged on past, with a wave and a smile 😉

You can barely even see which way the road goes – which is actually a sharp right hand corner.

And so, of course, we came out the other side of the puddle, first.  Because we are that awesome and tough.

Did I mention I am soooooo looking forward to going to work tomorrow?

Awesome.
